One on One Solar Sem – March 30
Learning never stops…
Well this is what I can say about the latest one on one Solar Seminar we had last March 30 with Engineer Ferdinand Omadto, Electrical Engineer and Professor of Quezon City Polytechnic University.
Sir Ferdinand came all the way from Novaliches to attend the solar DIY seminar last holy week. The venue is here at Tsarina Grand Villas, Gen. Trias, Cavite. He said he had been looking for something like this (solar training) for a long time now even asked the DENR, TESDA and Meralco if they conducted one, but unfortunately they are not offering what we are offering. It was a stroke of luck that he came to this website and saw the seminar/training that we have already done. So he contacted us and made an appointment to attend, and it happened last March 30.
Lecture 1 started he asked a lot of questions which was all answered, and his questions being an electrical engineer and a professor was different from all the past attendees’ questions :). The photo above is hands-on of the solar power wiring system.
DIY for solar panel started right after lunch, he talked a little while working on his project, concentrating on the task at hand.
Trying to align all the cells, ready for framing.
Almost close to finish, framing the project.
After framing the project here is sir Ferdi testing his project if it was working, with multi tester and a 12 volt LED bulb. IT worked! Perfect!
He also brought with him a solar panel which he said he used for a demo in their department but unfortunately it failed to work, I check it and made it work again.
After the seminar sir Ferdinand took pictures of our own set-up, so I told him to make my solar panel system work, which he did right away, and surprise surprise.. he was able to do it perfectly :).
Sir Ferdinand congratulations and thank you po. We hope this is not a first and last meeting. God bless you.
