We had a free solar orientation conducted in Matina Town Square, Davao City.
The lecture started a little bit late than scheduled because we had to wait one attendee who came all the way from Agusan del Sur. It was ok with us since what we really wanted is to have more people attending our free seminars since we do not do this all the time.
Very few attended even though we have this posted and advertised. We encourage everyone who visits our website, whenever we post/advertised free solar orientation on different places we visit, that you come attend or let your friends/family know. We do not collect any fees, it is really free. In fact the one we held at Davao City, we gave away free solar bulbs so our attendees can experience the benefits of using solar energy right away. Made a solar powered car for my 6 year old from scrap 😀
Bought the toy car from a junk shop, painted it, added a 40 watts solar panel as roof..
Battery installed is 17Ah lead acid battery and a 10A PWM solar charge controller.
Up to 8 hours of usage.. oh ha! 😀
A free lecture seminar on solar energy was held last April 11 at Alcoy, Cebu.
Not many grabbed the chance to attend the free seminar here. But all in all we still consider this a success as we were able to share the knowledge of how people can get free electricity from the sun.
