Tsarina Grand Villas
A belated post, we have been so very busy lately that posting new projects had been delayed, our apologies to our followers.
This new project is a very easy one, in fact even a child can do this. My 11 year old was able to easily. Now I am going to show it here step by step.
How to make your own solar powered mobile/gadget charger.
10 pcs 52×19 mm solar cells
2 feet tab wire
USB module 500-1000mAh (note if using 500mAh can only charge cp)
For the frame this is what I used
Scrap glasses (2)
Aluminum tape to cover the sides of the glasses
60 watt soldering iron
Make 5 rows, 2 columns when tabbing your cells.
I think no need for further explanations on the pics below.. 🙂
6 cells tabbed already here on the pic above…

Sir Sir Ed Soriano from Makati and Lyndon de Leon from Antipolo City.
Sir Ed checking on my solar system :).. placed in my office for easier viewing, it controls the solar system of my house.
Hands on training on solar panel making started after lunch (lecture is held in the morning).
And finally testing their projects, which turned out to be perfect :).
Thank you sir Ed and sir Lyndon for coming, goodluck on your solar power installations :).
Another solar energy seminar was conducted last April 12 with 7 attendees, 4 of them was from an NGO group. They all came from different areas, Pasig City, Quezon City, Muntinlupa, Paco Manila, bacoor and Naic Cavite. Held at the multipurpose hall of Tsarina Grand Villas, Gen. Trias Cavite.

Starting with a small chat getting to know each other and waiting for the others to arrive, the lecture started after 9 am.
The last topic of the lecture was the hands on for the wiring system and then more questions which was all answered to their satisfaction. Mrs Vindal was the one who asked the most questions 🙂 being a homemaker she… Continue reading
Learning never stops…
Well this is what I can say about the latest one on one Solar Seminar we had last March 30 with Engineer Ferdinand Omadto, Electrical Engineer and Professor of Quezon City Polytechnic University.
Sir Ferdinand came all the way from Novaliches to attend the solar DIY seminar last holy week. The venue is here at Tsarina Grand Villas, Gen. Trias, Cavite. He said he had been looking for something like this (solar training) for a long time now even asked the DENR, TESDA and Meralco if they conducted one, but unfortunately they are not offering what we are offering. It was a stroke of luck that he came to this website and saw the seminar/training that we have already done. So he contacted us and made an appointment to attend, and it happened last March 30.

We conducted another one on one training with sir Jong Cruz from Paranaque last March 23.
Lecture started at around 9 am and hands on for DIY solar panel making started after lunch.
Every column is always tested for voltage output before framing the project. Photo below is the framing and the testing of the finished project.
Sir Jong, thanks for coming, hope we have shared something valuable to you. More power and God bless po!
Sir Mark William P. Herrera (right) came all the way from Pampanga just to attend the solar energy seminar, and sir Fred Tapulado is from Carmona Cavite.

Well it was unexpected after the Feb 21 seminar we had another schedule the next day.
Sir Jacob Bolus who was an OFW came for a one on one sem last Feb 22. It was not a sunny day, infact it was raining during the sem, thankfully it stopped raining after sir Jacob finished his project and we were able to test it under the sun.
Sir Jacob said, that while on his way to our place he said he is going to ask a lot of questions, during the lecture most of the questions that he was planning to asked were tackled.. he said he was very much satisfied with what he learned from the one day sem we had.
He also mentioned that he was referred to attend to our sem by his colleagues over seas. It was them who found out about this website and… Continue reading
